Judgement
"Everything you believe about yourself is something you were taught. Every judgment is just a point of view, an opinion that wasn't there when you were born. If you stop judging yourself, then no one else can judge you and all the judgements die." ~don Jose Ruiz

To Become One
Life is not esoteric at all. It is written on each leaf on each tree, on each pebble on the seashore; it is contained in each ray of the sun - whatever you come across is life in all its beauty.
Consider this:
The simple act of observing beauty, be it in nature, or in the form of art alters your state of mind, however briefly. And in that brief moment, when all thoughts and emotions subside, when you are completely absorbed and entranced by the beauty, you have become one with it.

The Irony of Mankind
'I want to appeal to your analytical mind,' don Juan said. 'Think for a moment and tell me how you would explain the contradiction between the intelligence of man the engineer and the stupidity of his systems of beliefs, or the stupidity of his contradictory behavior.'
'Sorcerers believe that the predators (of man) have given us our systems of beliefs, our ideas of good and evil, our social mores. They are the ones who set up our hopes, expectations and dreams of success or failure (via media). They have given us covetousness, greed and cowardice (wealth, fame). It is the predators who make us complacent, routinary, and egomanical.'

Psychedelic fireworks
... "transcendent sense of unity, of connection to the world and dissolution of the ego..."
..."To be shaken out of the ruts of ordinary perception, to be shown for a few timeless hours the outer and the inner world, not as they appear to an animal obsessed with survival or to a human being obsessed with words and notions, but as they are apprehended, directly and indirectly, by Mind at Large..."
"Through our anthropological emissaries we enacted our compulsion to consume the exotic and, in the act of consumption annihilate it."
The achievements of the Western world, its "order and harmony" were based on contamination and pollutants emitted on a global scale: "The first thing we see as we travel around the world is our own filth, thrown in the face of mankind."

The Embarkment
The typical path of the pursuit for happiness - that of success, wealth, fame and an undying need for constant and instant gratifications have never sat well with me. It have always felt like, there should be something more to life, something Larger than life, Larger than each and every one of us, individually. And so I've embarked on a journey to discover the elements that are associated with the potential answers to the question: What's life all about?
"Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am Wise, so I am changing myself." -Rumi
It simply never made any sense to me, the futility and senselessness of pursuing success as encouraged as almost inevitably the 'only option' to 'survive' in modern day society. How is modern day life about survive-ability when human kind has advanced in so many ways comparatively. We obviously are more than capable in harnessing the power of elements to our advantage, to invent and re-create. The brilliance of man the engineer against the contradictory and stupidity of human's beliefs system and behaviors. Oh, the irony.
Logically, with the degree of advancement humanity have experienced, the primary concern of survival should have been tackled millennial ago! We could raise 100-storey towers, propel rockets to outer space, invent deadly weapons that could wipe out the entire planet, yet we have failed to provide the fundamental basics for all.
Why is that? What is inherently wrong with the foundations of our system, of our intentions, that so many has to suffer at the expense of the so-called 'elites' who bath in luxury, gathering more wealth than any one person could use. These simple, yet apparently unanswerable questions have gazed piercingly into my soul and it is begging for clarity, to see through the veils of society, to ponder upon the core of our being-ness.
'Don't gain the world, and lose your soul'
Why is that we are headed towards the destruction of the planet that feeds us, when there are countless ways as to avoid that path. We are more than capable of living symbiotically with all lives around, instead of behaving like parasites. Do we have to destroy everything we touch, bite the hand that feeds? Are we appropriately concerned for the continuity and well being of mankind. And if so, would not providing a more pristine and untouched world of greater importance than providing in any other ways?
"A society is defined not only by what it creates, but also what it refuses to destroy" -John Sawhill
What is success anyway, apart from what we are told. Look inside yourself, was that what you really wanted? Have we always yearned for wealth when we were young, fresh, and living true to self? Or... have we succumb to the immense pressure of societal expectations that we eventually are forced into the 'mould'?
Screw that, I say. We are here to live, learn and experience. I believe we are all here, to experience and remember who we truly are, as a person, and as a species, as a whole... a collective entity. Why turn our back against each other, when we could set aside our differences, and use it for the benefit of all? When did we start viewing our brethren, as a potential enemy, to be wary of? Who has turned us against ourselves?
Why do we feel dis-empowered? We, the new generation, have the power in our hands, to shape the world as we want it to be. We simply have to step up, believe in ourselves and each other, the grandiosity of humanity shall not be dimmed, our courage not shaken, our strength restored to its rightful state.
We are the ones we have been waiting for.
Let us bringforth light, into this dark sorrowful state of a planet.
Let us be the channels of love, to cast upon shadows.
p.s. come what may, i welcome with open hands.
